| Training - Every UMR interviewer undergoes rigorous training before ever conducting an interview. This is as true for veteran employees as it is for new employees. Because each questionnaire is unique, different focal points and methodologies come into play. It is for this reason that each interviewer participates in a thorough briefing session before interviewing on each new study. Monitoring - Our monitoring equipment allows us to develop our interviewerís skills through constructive critiques and also assists us in ensuring that no fraudulent interviews are conducted. Additionally, if you would like to personally listen in on your study, simply pick up the phone and call. We will directly patch you into the interviewer phone lines. A 1:8 supervisor to interviewer ratio is maintained for all projects as well as a 15% minimum verification procedure where our supervisors re-contact respondents to make sure all questions were asked, and in the correct manner. Supervisory Staff - All Supervisors and Assistants at UMR are trained to manage each project with the utmost care and professionalism. They are sensitive to the importance of timeliness as well as quality in all work.
