CATI (computer assisted telephone interviewing) offers the benefits of automated questionnaire logic, real-time entry of survey data, and instantaneous view of answers. Our CATI system of 65 stations utilizes a Novell network and downloads survey data into a PC-based tabulation software package for immediate cross-tabulation. This enables our clients to obtain complete marginal reports at any time. Clients may also personally test questionnaires by dialing into our network. UMR uses ACS QUERY software (versions 4.5 - XM) for questionnaire programming.
